Systems Administrator:

Requires a BS or BA degree in Computer Science or related technical specialty; OR a HS diploma/GED AND an additional eight (8) years of combined education/experience working within a relevant technical field. Basic experience includes at least three (3) years of computer systems related support and requires certifications in Security+ CE (or higher) and in at least one Microsoft Operating System (OS) within 180 days of employment. Additionally, knowledge and skills relating to Windows Server 2016/Windows 10 and Active directory and group policy are essential, along with ability to address service requests, computer installation and maintenance, routine server maintenance, and server consolidation. Additionally, this position necessitates having knowledge in Windows Server OS Security directives, DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), Risk Management Framework (RMF), System Security Scanning, System Patching and Helpdesk Applications. Positional duties involve providing systems administration support to maintain closed-loop network functionality; performing data backup, storage, and archiving routines; developing and submitting inputs to software user documentation; complying with NAVAIR information security guidelines; supporting configuration management requirements; operating computers, network servers, backup storage devices, and other peripheral equipment. Jr. Program Analyst:

Requires an AS or AA degree and at least two (2) years of experience in a business or technical position. An additional four (4) years of experience can be substituted for an AS or AA degree. Position also requires strong oral and written communications skills. Duties primarily include providing support to Integrated Product Team Leads (IPTL) in performing planning and analysis functions for Aviation Support Equipment (SE) acquisition programs. Responsibilities also involve compiling reports, conducting data analyses, and assisting in setting up new acquisition programs. Position will also be required to develop, review, and edit documentation; provide acquisition support to the PMA260 Acquisition Support Specialists; and assist with Acquisition Management System (AMS) processes. Additionally, tasking will consist of facilitating process improvements and developing internal guidelines and standards to be applied across the program office, as well as attend meetings and/or program reviews, record minutes, and generate/disseminate action item lists. Further, this position will access and populate various computer applications and tools, generate schedules, and prepare slide presentations. Lab Engineering/Electronics Technician:

Candidate requires a High School diploma or GED, along with completion of a technical school; trade school; military technical school; course of training in electricity, electronics, avionics, mechanics, armaments/ordnance, or engineering technology. Must also possess electrical connector and wire repair knowledge and proficiency. Position requires application of engineering techniques, principles and precedents to develop, design, modify, install, test, evaluate, and/or operate electrical, electronic, avionics, mechanical, communications, stores, armament/ordnance, or related data processing systems for military weapon systems or associated support equipment or components. Reviews, analyzes, develops, prepares or applies engineering, technical or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures, as well as reports on technical data and information. Plans and performs tests and evaluations of systems equipment or components. Compiles, processes, reduces, or analyzes test data results. Performs Technical Directive (TD) and Airframe Change (AFC) wiring installations in laboratories and on Fleet aircraft. Specific technical and maintenance experience with the UH-1Y and AH-1Z platforms is required. Additional experience in cable fabrication/repair is highly desired. Must be a U.S. citizen, able to obtain/retain a Secret level DoD security clearance, and may be required to perform other tasks on an as-needed basis. Senior Operations Logistics Manager:

Requires a bachelor's degree, ten (10) years' experience in operational logistics/maintenance engineering, and four (4) years within supervisory positions in support of acquisition or operational commands. Previous experience with Level I Integrated Product Teams (IPT), as well as Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA) acquisition and/or operational logistics/maintenance activities is highly desired. Duties include serving as a senior-level logistician assisting the P-8A Industrial Capabilities team and PMA-290 DAPMLs with program management, acquisition, ILS/IPS, and life-cycle management evolutions for the P-8A aircraft and related mission systems. Responsible for managing and coordinating the execution of ILS/IPS-related analysis, requirements definition, planning, development, integration, implementation, and management efforts as they apply to MPRA in-service aircraft, weapon systems, training, and/or SE programs. Software Support Logistics Manager:

Requires a BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; and at least six (6) years' experience in aviation acquisition logistics, sustainment, and/or computer support activities. Previous experience with MPRA acquisition, software sustainment, and/or operational logistics/maintenance organizations is highly desired. Position assists software development, integration, and sustainment related to the P-8A aircraft while reporting the DAPML and IPT. Duties include: develop and maintain aircraft and SIL software trackers; review, evaluate, coordinate, recommend, and brief all related ECPs; draft and route TD/ASCs in conjunction with the PMA-290 TD coordinator; conduct root cause analysis for readiness and cost degraders affecting software sustainment; coordinate new acquisitions involving software and provide inputs to SOWs/CDRLs; develop, manage, track, and maintain current and newly procured software licenses; manage and coordinate the Software Configuration Matrix (SCM) for Fleet sustainment; maintain liaison with TYCOM for current authorized software configurations and availability; coordinate, identify, plan, and deliver software updates to maintenance laptops; support, justify, and develop packages for the P-8A SSA to correct top Fleet software deficiencies. Armament/Weapons Support Equipment (AWSE) Engineering Technician:

Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a military/technical trade school resulting in an Aviation Ordnanceman (AO) Navy Occupational Specialty (NOS) Code A420 or an Aircraft Ordnance Technician, Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 6531 in the USMC. Must have four (4) years of practical experience as an AO technician performing organizational/intermediate level operations and maintenance on AWSE. Experience supporting the AWSE Program along with designation as an AO Quality Assurance Representative (QAR), Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI), or equivalent are highly desired. Duties include interpreting, analyzing, utilizing, evaluating, and recommending improvements to engineering drawings, schematics, parts lists, and specifications, while also assembling mechanical equipment accordingly. Must be able to clearly communicate and understand technical requirements/procedures as they pertain to mechanical/electro-mechanical SE/AWSE, while also being capable of performing test and evaluation of SE items independently. Performance of duties may occur in afloat shipboard environments, along with ashore flight-line, hangar, and AO shop locations. Additionally, must possess or be able to obtain licenses/certifications for US Navy forklifts (up to 20K lbs), Category III Overhead Hoist, Aircraft Maintenance Cranes, SE Tow Tractors, Powered Bomb Hoist, Powered Weapons Loaders, and an Airfield Operators License. Engineer/Scientist Journeyman:

Requires a BS in Engineering or Physics. Must have at least three (3) years of experience in Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) engineering or aircraft engineering. Position supports the NAVAIR E3 Aircraft Division. Must be able to apply E3 engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate Naval Aviation platforms, weapons, and avionics. Responsibilities include reviewing and preparing engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. Tasks also comprise of studying and designing specifications and services related to electrical and electronic systems, such as power generation, transmission and distribution, power systems performance and control, cabling and wiring, lighting, motor control centers, communications systems, cathodic protection, grounding lightning protection, and heat tracing. Machinist / Technician III:

Requires a high school diploma/GED and a minimum of five (5) years' machining experience including the use of CNC and conventional machining equipment/tools. Backgrounds in air vehicle structural modifications, rework, and/or repairs are highly desired. This position manufactures parts and items of equipment from raw stock of metals, metal alloys, and other materials through the use of machine tools and precision handwork. Duties include the set up and operation of most types of machine tools such as CNC machines, lathes, vertical and horizontal boring mills; bench, plain, or universal milling machines; shapers; planers; internal and external grinders; thread grinders; and radial drills. Additionally, tasking will require the use of a variety of auxiliary machine tool attachments such as rotary vises, dividing heads, taper attachments, magnetic chucks, vertical milling heads, tapping attachments, rotary tables, and others. 3D models will be utilized to extract geometry data along with employment of sine vises, rotary indexes, grinders, lathes, and hand tools to perform daily tasking. Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision, and may also be required to perform other tasks on an as-needed basis. Quality Assurance Sheet Metal Technician IV:

Requires a high school diploma/GED and a minimum of ten (10) years' experience in the area of air vehicle structural modifications with particular emphasis on mechanical design, construction, installation and support of aircraft modification and aircraft prototyping designs. Aircraft structural Quality Assurance Representative (QAR), Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI), or equivalent certifications are highly desired. Position requires extensive knowledge of inspection/QA techniques, principles, and equipment including: QA/control methods and practices; hand held inspection tools and measuring equipment (ie calipers, verniers, micrometers, gage pins, thread gages, height gages, bore gages, Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), Optical Comparator, Scanner, etc.); interpretation and application of mechanical and aircraft structural documentation (ie CAD drawings and files); in-depth awareness of commercial and military specifications, procedures and standards that govern mechanical modifications; and complete understanding of modifications performed on air vehicles for the purpose of installing first article prototyping systems (ie NAVAIR 001A and SAE ARP 1870 Bonding & Grounding Aerospace Systems). Duties may also include performing repairs, fabrication, modification and installation of sheet metal parts, items, and assemblies. Quality Assurance Wiring Technician IV:

Requires a high school diploma/GED and a minimum of ten (10) years' experience in the area of air vehicle modification with particular emphasis on electrical design, construction, installation, and support of aircraft modification and prototyping designs. Aircraft electronics/avionics Quality Assurance Representative (QAR), Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI), or equivalent certifications are highly desired. Position also requires extensive knowledge of inspection/QA techniques and principles, as well as a comprehensive and thorough knowledge of the full range of principles related to one or more quality assurance functional programs, such as wiring harness in-processes and installations associated with 027-16 HC-27J MPA, IAW the SAE AS50881 Rev: G and the NAVAVIR 01-1A-505-1 while following the APSD FOD and tool control program; final inspections which include but are not limited to continuity checks, assembly, wire routes (lane designation, color, chaffing, radius bends, strain relief) and harness security; knowledge and utilization of quality assurance/control methods, principles, and practices, including sampling techniques; thorough and detailed knowledge of measuring equipment including Multi-meter, Spectrum Analyzer, Bonding Meter, Calipers, Linear Scale; comprehensive knowledge in interpreting and applying mechanical, aircraft structural and electrical system documentation (ie CAD drawings and files); and complete and thorough knowledge of commercial and military specifications, procedures and standards that govern electrical and mechanical modifications. Other duties may include performing repairs, fabrication, modification and installation of electrical wiring harnesses, cables, wires, wiring assemblies and associated parts. This position also requires the ability to lead other technicians and to coordinate efforts to accomplish a task, as well as to communicate with the project engineer/designer on any issues pertaining to the task. Must be a U.S. Citizen, obtain (and subsequently maintain) IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification within 60 days, and be able to acquire and retain a DoD Secret level security clearance. Junior Electrician / Technician:

Requires a high school diploma/GED; completion of a technical school is highly desired. Duties will be performed in support of NAVAIR's Propulsion and Power labs and will include: supporting the assembly, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools; connecting wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components; diagnosing and repairing malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components; inspecting electrical systems to identify hazards and defects; installing or modifying equipment per applicable electrical codes and regulations; and testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits. Engineering Technician (ATE/TPS):

Position requires a High School diploma or GED, completion of a Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) Operator/Maintainer course, and four years' experience operating/maintaining CASS stations. Qualification as a Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) and/or CASS calibration technician is highly desired. Must be familiar with the use of common and peculiar shop tools and test equipment. Functional duties include providing support to engineers and technicians in the maintenance and operation of electronic Consolidated Automated Support Systems (eCASS) within a test and evaluation environment. Additional duties include the preparation of engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation, as well as performing functions such as Operational Test Program Set (OTPS) testing, government acceptance testing, and other U.S. Navy acquisition and sustainment support. Training for standard forklifts, overhead cranes, and other SE required in support of daily activities will be provided. Performs other tasks associated with maintaining an efficient ATE laboratory, as needed. Must have a valid state driver's license and possess an active Secret DoD security clearance. Sr. Electrical Engineer:

Candidate requires a BS degree in electrical engineering from an accredited ABET college or university. Must have at least 8 years of experience supporting RDT&E programs for military aircraft/weapon systems, including 6 years performing in the function areas described below. Must have demonstrated experience directing, monitoring, and/or participating in the installation, configuration, calibration, and operation of engine test systems, environmental chambers, associated instrumentation, and/or data acquisition systems used for testing propulsion and electrical power systems. Prior DoD acquisition work experience is preferred. The candidate should be capable of managing programs including writing proposals, developing program plans, and providing briefing material. Functions involve applying engineering principles to modify and upgrade laboratory electrical and instrumentation systems in support of power and propulsion RDT&E programs. Prepares procurement specification inputs, interface drawings, installation design packages, and calibration procedures to accommodate unique test requirements. Oversees systems modifications, installation, integration, and checkout functions. Performs test planning, data collection, and test data analysis. Electrical Engineer:

Candidate requires a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited ABET college or university. Must have at least 4 years of experience supporting RDT&E programs for military aircraft/weapon systems, including 2 years planning, directing, and/or participating in aircraft and laboratory testing. Functions entail providing support for electrical power quality testing and evaluation, including voltage and frequency transients/modulation, voltage distortion, and power interruption on various aircraft, shipboard, ground vehicle, and vendor prototype components and equipment. Additionally, the candidate will interface test articles with programmable power supplies and data acquisition equipment to conduct power quality tests, followed by analysis of test article responses for compliance with MIL-SPECS/MIL-STDs. In particular, candidate must have experience with MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-1275, and FAA RTCA DO-160. Position also requires knowledge of test planning, data collection, data analysis, test report writing, and presentation of results. Further requirements include specialized knowledge and experience in the design, installation, operation, calibration, maintenance and repair of power quality test facilities, associated equipment, and their control systems.
